I have also enjoyed reading the 2 books by Peter Lynch, and I see a lot of commonalities between the 2 of you, the way you think and your philosophy, etc.
如果你能简单讲几句，说说你怎么看 Peter Lynch，怎么看他在那两本书里讲的东西，还有他给投资者的那些建议，我一定会非常感激。
I'd certainly appreciate it if you'd make a few comments on what you think of Peter Lynch, the things he says in his 2 books, and the advice that he gives to investors?

Well, I know Peter.
谈不上特别熟，不过我——不过我——事实上，我们还在 Omaha 一起打过桥牌。
I don't know him well, but I— but I— we played bridge together in Omaha, as a matter of fact.
而且我，我个人很喜欢他，显然他的业绩也非常出色。
And I, I like him personally, and obviously he has an outstanding record.
他还写了那两本讲自己投资理念的书，而且都成了畅销书。
And he has written those 2 books which have been bestsellers about his investment philosophy.
我其实没什么，你知道，我不打算在他的基础上再多发挥什么。
I don't really have anything, you know, I'm not going to embroider on his.
我们——有一个——当然是有相当多重合的地方。
We have— there is a— there's, there's certainly a fair amount of overlap.
也有一些不同。
There's some difference.
很明显，Peter 比我更喜欢分散投资得多。
Peter obviously likes to diversify a lot more than I do.
我是说，他持有的股票，比我能记住的公司名字还多。
I mean, he, he owns more stocks than the names of companies I can remember.
我是说，不过，不过这就是 Peter。
I mean, but, but that's Peter.
而我，呃，你知道，我过去在投资上说过，通往天堂的路不止一条，在这件事上也没有唯一正确的宗教，不过有些宗教是非常有用的。
And I, uh, you know, I, uh, I've said in investing in the past that there's more than one way to get to heaven, and that there, there isn't a true religion in this, but there's some very useful religions.
Peter 就有他那一套，我觉得我们也有一套很有用的方法，而且两者有很多重合之处。
And Peter's got one, and I think that we've got one that's useful too, and there is a lot of overlap.
不过，如果我试着完全照 Peter 的方式去做，我未必能做得那么好；而他如果完全照我的方式去做，可能也未必能做得那么好。
But I would not do as well if I tried to do it the way Peter does it, and he probably wouldn't do as well if he tried to do it exactly the way I do it.
我个人非常喜欢他。
I like him personally very much.
他是个非常正派、非常优秀的人。
He's a high-grade guy.
